The Women in Science & Health (WISH) Awards, sponsored by the WISH Committee, celebrate the remarkable achievements and impact of women faculty at the Robert C. Byrd Health Sciences Center (HSC) of West Virginia University. These awards are overseen by the WISH Awards Subcommittee, which is responsible for soliciting nominations, evaluating candidates, and recommending finalists for approval by the WISH Committee.

 The WISH Early Career, Mid-Career, and Advanced Career Awards recognize women faculty who have made exceptional contributions in areas such as diversity and inclusion, education and mentorship, research and scholarship, leadership, and service to the state of West Virginia, in alignment with the WVU HSC mission and values. Women who are current or retired members of the HSC faculty are eligible for nomination, and submissions from employees, students, and trainees across all HSC schools are encouraged. However, members of the WISH Awards Subcommittee are not eligible. To nominate a deserving woman faculty member, please complete the submission form below.
