The Fulcrum Project Application

The Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design is partnering with the West Virginia Community Development Hub to develop partnerships with current and former Hub Communities. Our mission is to build 10 faculty and student teams and match them with 10 community projects that have been identified as priorities. The projects can include a diverse set of disciplines due to the expertise we possess throughout the college and WVU. Communities can tap into the expertise of faculty and energy of students in developing projects around local food issues, horticulture, landscape architecture, mine reclamation, forestry, wetlands, tourism planning, entrepreneurship, water quality, interior design, and a multitude of other subject areas that are offered at WVU. If selected, communities will receive a $5,000 mini-grant to fund travel and project expenses.

Projects will be selected in Spring 2022. In the Fall 2022 semester, the communities will work with their identified WVU team to complete said project.
